As UI Software Engineer, you will work with our world-class engineering team to design, implement, and deploy our core customer facing applications. If you have a passion to work on User Acceptance and Usability issues — with large amounts of data — and believe in designing and developing clean user interfaces, we'd love to talk to you!

Background and Qualifications:
  • Super smart, great coder, motivated, fearless, self-starter, quick learner, and with a great sense of humor.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, XML, CSS, JSON, REST, and/or any other related languages/technologies.

We are building the world's largest scale mobile ad serving system, and as Data Warehouse Engineer, you will play an integral role in the design and development of highly scalable ETL solutions to process large volumes of data, as well as building reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

Operations Engineer (Tools) — San Mateo, CA

AdMob is the pioneer in the rapidly growing and evolving mobile media marketplace and we are looking for rock star engineers to join our team! To support our explosive growth, our infrastructure must be highly available, secure, and scale to our ever expanding data/traffic volumes. As Operations Engineer, your challenge will be to ensure the reliability and availability of our platform, by working on tools that help improve operational efficiencies in a high-throughput network. You will have an opportunity to work with best-of-breed open source systems for configuration management, monitoring, database management, trending and reporting databases. You will work closely with your peers in the software engineering and research teams to make sure that reliability and availability is preserved as we continue to launch new and enhanced features and systems.

Background and Qualifications:
  • Super smart, great coder, motivated, fearless, self-starter, quick learner, and with a great sense of humor.
  • Operations experience — configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning — in a high-volume, Unix/Linux based production environment.
  • Development experience using Perl, PHP, Python and/or C.
  • Scripting, automation, and tools development experience desired.
  • Familiarity with basics of network design including TCP/IP, DNS, and Sendmail/Postfix.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering; MS or PhD always a plus.
Preferred Experience:

As Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administration, configuration, and tuning of a high-volume transactional database, which is a primary component of our ad serving system.

Product Support Manager — San Mateo, CA

AdMob is looking for an energetic, technically sound individual to lead our Product Support team. You will be the prime interface between our clients and the company. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of the network and ensuring client satisfaction. More than just providing excellent support, we are looking for someone who will identify problems and create permanent solutions. You are responsible for synthesizing and communicating customer feedback to product management, marketing, and engineering teams.

You should be motivated, comfortable in a fast-changing atmosphere, have a strong desire to learn, and, most importantly, love working with people.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer support for our advertisers and publishers.
  • Create solutions for customer problems and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on product changes and enhancements.
  • Analyze data to discover new insights about our customers.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and business development to drive customer performance.
Qualifications:

Sales

Account Managers work alongside advertising sales to do more than simply make money for our company. Our team members work hard to identify our clients' business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives, and keep them educated and informed in the ways that current and future AdMob products can enhance their mobile presence. In addition to being engaging and personable, analytical and proactive, and energetic and creative, the account management team is passionate about the ways in which AdMob technology enables the advertisers of all sizes to enjoy immediate and accountable communication with the customer.

The Account Manager will act as the primary point-of-contact for client accounts and lead day-to-day management and optimization of campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for the Client during advertising campaigns.
  • Work on RFP responses with the Sales Director.
  • Leads day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns.
  • Upsells client on future and larger advertising opportunities with AdMob, whenever possible.
  • Assists in strategy development.
  • Authors campaign summary/analysis.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of each area of AdMob resources.
  • Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
  • Monitors agency/client budgets and billing process for accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications:
