July has been another great month and I have some exciting updates for you.

Over One Billion Ads per Month!
The last two months I've told you about our tremendous growth and this month I'm happy to say that we're now serving ads at a run-rate that exceeds one billion ads per month!A quick update on our growth in July:

CBS & ESPN Join the AdMob Marketplace
We are continually adding new publishers and I am excited to tell you about two major additions to the Sports, News and Information channel for mobile text and banner advertising.These two sites ad significant reach to the AdMob Marketplace.
CBS News and CBS SportsLine have a broad spectrum of unique users.CBS News demographic tends to be pop culture enthusiasts and over index on higher education.CBS News skews slightly female and CBS SportsLine skews slightly male.
ESPN has chosen AdMob as their exclusive third party mobile advertising network.ESPN is a top five mobile web property in the US with an important male demographic.
ESPN and CBS chose AdMob as their mobile advertising network for industry leading fill rates and monetization, real-time reporting and the quality of the advertisers on the AdMob marketplace.As the AdMob Marketplace continues to expand we are seeing even more new advertisers (e.g., Disney, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, MTV Mobile, Proctor & Gamble, Starbucks, etc) join who continue to attract even larger publishers.
Adding new publishers means better campaign performance for advertisers and more traffic overall. As such we're anticipating that ads such as yours displaying in the Sports, News and Information channels will see high click thru rates as a result. I would highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Please ask your Sales Director or Account Manager about this, or if you are doing your own advertising with us you can use the "Choose Channels" page of the Create Ad process.
New Functionality
AdMob Landing Pages
AdMob is committed to making it easier for advertisers to create and conduct mobile ad campaigns, and we are very excited to announce the release of yet another mobile advertising solution from the AdMob Marketplace:AdMob Landing Pages.We have created a tool that enables advertisers to create mobile web pages for their ads.Key functionality includes:
Templates that make creation quick & easy-only takes seconds
Opt-in pages to have prospects submit email addresses and/or phone numbers
Enable click-to-call
Drag-and-drop functionality offers control over page layout
Simulated mobile screen to help you tailor your page for mobile
Send-to-SMS feature that lets you preview your landing page on a device
We host the pages for you
As an advertiser, whether you need a mobile site or want to try a new landing page, we hope you'll give the AdMob Landing Pages a try.You can access the new Landing Page Builder tool by logging in to your AdMob account and clicking "My Ads".From there you'll see a link for "My Landing Pages". This new functionality is also good news for publishers because it makes it even easier for advertisers to advertiser on your sites.
iPhone Specific Ad Unit
We have just introduced a new ad unit specifically for the iPhone. This new ad unit takes full advantage of the iPhone environment with dynamic sizing, incorporation of google maps, graphics capabilities, etc. Publishers can ensure that their sites are ready to service this ad unit by installing the iPhone Javascript install code. Just log into My Sites and click the link for Site Install code.
Ad Filtering
We understand the importance of controlling which ads appear on your site, and have now given you the ability to block ads from specific URLs (e.g., a competitive site).In order to utilize this functionality, you can click log in to My Sites and click the "edit site" link next to the title of your site.You'll find the "Ad URL Filter" field at the bottom of the page.
