We saw continued growth in our network during the month of November.Our network now includes advertisers such as Allstate, Blackberry, Best Buy, and Nokia, as well as hundreds of other advertisers.For publishers, more advertisers in our network means an increase in demand for your inventory leading to higher fill rates and ultimately more revenue.

We recently conducted a customer insights survey and we want to thank all of you who participated. We're working hard to incorporate the feedback you gave us in the survey, and we're continually developing new features and enhancements to our products. The continued expansion of the mobile web means increased traffic and ultimately benefits both advertisers and publishers in the mobile ecosystem. Several factors are coming together to help the wireless industry take steps toward the goal of an open, robust mobile internet. Here are a few:
Verizon's announcement that it will open its "walled garden" approach to mobile content. This is a significant step because Verizon has long been one of the most restrictive US carriers. The term "walled garden" refers to a limited amount of content that subscribers are able to view if their carrier has imposed controls on the browsing environment. Without "walled-gardens" consumers have the freedom to browse the entire mobile web and gain exposure to both content and advertisements. This means more traffic overall, leading to more monetization opportunities for publishers and targetable scale for advertisers.
Google's Android open source mobile phone platform and Open Handset Alliance Project, a consortium of hardware, software and telecom companies dedicated to working toward open standards for mobile devices have the potential to greatly impact the mobile landscape. This open source approach should simplify and reduce the cost of developing mobile applications, leading to new and innovative applications designed for mobile and thus more opportunities to advertise and greater reach.
Flat rate data tariffs are highly related to mobile internet usage. The freedom for consumers to browse without worry of high data charges will allow them to spend more time browsing the mobile web. When people spend more time on the mobile web, they will have the opportunity to view more sites, view sites more often, and the likelihood that people will click on ads is increased.
Proven business model for ad supported content - this is where AdMob and our partners come in. As you know, an advertising-based revenue model allows for development and innovation because mobile site publishers can have confidence they can monetize their site(s). The result is the growth of the mobile web, spurring the creation of engaging new content, increased consumer interest, and an increased number of clicks on ads.
