Understand Your Traffic with AdMob Geo Stats
We are proud to introduce AdMob Geo Stats, a free product that gives publishers an insightful picture of their traffic. Through its interactive, user-friendly interface, AdMob Geo Stats provides real-time performance and reporting data that can be broken down by geography for a specific site or in aggregate across multiple sites in the case that a publisher has more than one site on the AdMob network. You can track your audience on a range of metrics including a geo breakdown of: * Traffic * Clicks * Click-Through Rates * eCPM * Revenue We hope that the deep understanding of your audience that you gain from AdMob Geo Stats will help you in your efforts to target customers, optimize your content, and make decisions about content localization. AdMob reaches millions of unique users in more than 160 countries each day. With AdMob Geo Stats you'll be able to determine the country of origin of your traffic, giving you the opportunity tailor your offerings accordingly.
You'll find Geo Stats currently up and running as part of your Site Statistics next to the Reporting tab.
"My Sites" and "Site Statistics" pages now include eCPM (effective CPM) to measure and compare the performance of the ads running on your site. eCPM represents your earnings per thousand impressions. To calculate eCPM, divide earnings by impressions and multiply by 1000.
eCPM is a metric that is commonly used in advertising programs. It allows you to better compare the value of ads that may have different costs-per-click or different click-through-rates. We believe that eCPM will help you make more informed decisions about the ads running on your site.

Geographic Targeting Testing
Did you know? There are currently more than 3 Billion mobile phone subscribers in the world compared to 1 Billion people who have access to computers. AdMob reaches millions of unique users in more than 160 countries every day as we serve more than 2 Billion ads per month. Our network of 3000+ mobile sites gives us the ability to reach your target customers wherever they are. Our largest markets continue to be the US, India, South Africa, the UK, and Indonesia, but we are experiencing huge growth in markets all around the world. Did you know? AdMob has a team of PhDs working on our optimization algorithm, ensuring your ad is shown only to users who are most likely to be interested in your product or service. We work hard to serve the right ad to the right user at the right time so that you can experience superior performance with the AdMob network. While there is a lot of work going on here behind the scenes, you play an important role in reaching the right users by determining your targeting preferences. Experiment with Targeting to Reach Your Customers As you think about your target market and review the array of targeting options AdMob provides you, we encourage you to try new geographical markets. Testing different markets will allow you to compare interest in your product or service among markets. You will gain insights to help you develop your targeting strategy and better understand demand for your product or service. Your customers may be more global than you realize!
To change your targeting preferences, simply click on the name of the ad in the My Ads tab, select "Choose Targeting" from the horizontal navigation bar, and make your selections at the left. Be sure to monitor your ad performance by checking Ad Statistics regularly.
